Spektrofotometr UV-vis-NIR w laboratorium Zespołu Nieorganicznych Materiałów Molekularnych

Shimadzu UV-3600i Plus double-beam UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer with a tripe-detector system (photomultiplier, InGaAs and PbS NIR photodiodes) for measurements of electronic spectra of solutions (200-3300 nm) and solids (200-2600 nm). The spectrophotometer is equipped with (i) an integrating sphere (60 mm in diameter) with an adjustable incidence angle (0°/8°) for ambient-conditions measurements and (ii) a Praying Mantis (PM) temperature and vacuum accessory for the reflectance spectra collection (200-2400 nm) in the temperature and pressure range of −150-600°C and 10−6-103 torr, respectively. Moreover, it is possible to collect spectra in the atmosphere of organic solvents vapours with use of the PM chamber.

Spektrofluorymetr FS5 w laboratorium Zespołu Nieorganicznych Materiałów Molekularnych

Edinburgh Instruments FS-5 UV-vis-NIR spectrofluorometer for the examination of the photoluminescent properties of liquid and solid samples. The spectrofluorometer is equipped with a 150 W xenon lamp and (i) emission (photomultiplier; detection in the range of 250-900 nm), (ii) reference and (iii) transmission detectors. In addition, it is equipped with an MCS module (phosphorescence lifetime studies) with a 5W pulsed xenon lamp, a TCSPC module (fluorescence lifetime studies) with a set of external pulsed LEDs, an integrating sphere for determining the absolute quantum efficiency, a temperature adapter for high-temperature measurements (RT-500 K), an optical dewar for measurements at liquid nitrogen temperature (77 K), and a humidity control chamber (0-95% RH) coupled with a humidity generator. The spectrofluorometer is compatible with the CS204-FMX-1SS optical cryostat by ARS, which makes it possible to register excitation and emission spectra and determination of emission lifetimes in the temperature range of 4-370 K. The integrating sphere and the cryostat are also equipped with an accessory for electroluminescence and photoluminescence experiments in an external electric field coupled with an external source meter. The spectrofluorimeter is equipped with an optical pressure cell for pressure- and temperature-dependent photoluminescence measurements.  The device has also been adapted to cooperate with the SMS DVS Resolution gravimetric vapor sorption analyzer, which consitutes a unique measurement system allowing simultaneous measurements of solvent vapor sorption and luminescent properties of materials.

Mikroskop FTIR w laboratorium Zespołu Nieorganicznych Materiałów Molekularnych

Thermo Scientific™ Nicolet™ iN™ 10 FTIR microscopic spectrometer is used for the vibrational spectra collection in the infrared range (675-4000 cm-1) and spatial-resolving IR phase analysis with the possibility of mapping objects with a resolution of down to 10x10 µm2. This configuration allows for the characterization of individual crystals, crystal conglomerates, biological samples, or even construction material samples, including samples of historical and museum importance. The microscope is equipped with a Linkam THMS350V low-temperature measurement cell, which enables temperature measurements in the range of 77-600 K.
